Respite and short term stays are available at Llewsac Lodge.
People choose a short-term stay at Carleton-Willard for many reasons. For example:
- A respite stay can be important for a smooth transition to home after time in the hospital or in rehab. A supportive environment, with staff members available and awake 24 hours a day, helps your loved one continue to recuperate.
- Caregivers may need time away, whether it’s to attend a wedding or travel. They will have peace of mind knowing that their loved one’s needs are met in a caring, homelike environment.
- For some, a respite stay is an opportunity to try out life at Carleton-Willard without making a long-term commitment.
Although here for only a short stay, residents still have access to all the activities, fitness classes, and gourmet meals that are available to our permanent residents. We require a one-week minimum.
I feel strongly about the quality of the staff. Uniformly, they have a tremendous amount of pride and loyalty to Carleton-Willard and to the residents.
