Have you discovered your passion yet? Spend more time on the things you already love, or try something new and exciting.

If you have always had a passion for life, retirement should be no different. At Carleton-Willard Village, the richness of life continues with an incredible array of activities, recreation, and cultural and educational opportunities. Here, retirement is a time of growth, learning, and expression, with programs and events for the mind, body, and spirit. Enjoy a seminar or art class. Take an excursion to one of Boston’s many concerts, museums, galleries, or historical sites. Continue or become newly involved in a favorite charity, fund-raising effort, or civic cause. Or simply relax with fine dining, gardening, or long strolls amid our 72 beautiful acres of woods and meadows. Best of all, you will enjoy all of this with some great new friends.

Our Residents Make the Village

Once you move in, you will quickly discover that Carleton-Willard is your community. One thing that truly sets us apart is the extent of resident involvement in making the decisions that affect the Village. Members of our Resident Association don’t just passively make suggestions — they oversee dozens of vibrant groups and committees that plan activities and trips, raise money for and dispense scholarships, run the general store, help new residents get acclimated, and much more. On any given day you may find a group in deep discussion, artists taking advantage of the light in the new studio, gardeners selecting the flowers that grace Main Street, or a walking group getting some exercise on one of the Village trails.

The grounds, the acres of fields and woods in which to roam, the freedom to connect with the soil in our garden . . . (give) pleasure and a continued relationship with mother earth.
