Carleton-Willard Village has many residential options, all of which come with the services, amenities, and quality of life that we’re known for.
Our residences vary in size and style, from spacious cottages to efficient apartments. Pricing consists of two components:
- Entrance Fee. This is a one-time fee that is paid when you first occupy your new home, and varies based on the size of the unit and whether one or two people are living there.
- Monthly Service Fee. This is a recurring fee that covers the many services and amenities of the Village, such as one meal a day, housekeeping, and the Learning in Retirement program (see Service and Amenities for a more complete list), as well as expenses that you would incur in your current home, such as utilities, property taxes, grounds maintenance, and home repair.
Cottages (formerly known as Cluster Homes)
We have 95 cottages, which offer single-level living in floor plans featuring one bedroom, two bedrooms, and two bedroom plus study. Each home has wall-to-wall carpeting or a combination of carpet and luxury vinyl, a fully equipped kitchen, individually controlled heat or air conditioning, clothes washer and dryer, and attic storage. Many residences have decks or patios, and some have fireplaces. Along with immediate access to the Village’s woodland walking trails, residents enjoy scheduled jitney service to the Village’s Main Street and Village Centre for dining, shopping, and activities, or to the Wellness Center for swimming and other fitness programs. Pets are welcome.

Winthrop Terrace Apartments
We have 25 luxury apartments, which include floor plans featuring one bedroom, two bedrooms, and two bedroom plus study. These apartments are located in a four-story elevator building attached to the Village’s main facility. First-floor residences have garden patios; upper-floor residences feature balconies. Each apartment has wall-to-wall carpeting, individually controlled heat and central air conditioning, clothes washer and dryer, and a fully equipped kitchen with built-in dishwasher and microwave oven. Additional storage is also available.

Badger Terrace Apartments
We have 35 apartments, which include a range of floor plans — from efficient studios to ample plans offering two-bedroom plus study. These apartments are located in a three-story elevator building attached to the Village’s main facility. First-floor residences have patios, while second-floor and almost all third-floor residences have balconies. Each apartment has a full kitchen; living rooms and bedrooms come with air conditioning units. Clothes washers and dryers (for personal laundry) are available on each floor. Additional storage is also available.
