On April 1,  2016 Carleton-Willard broke ground on two much anticipated projects – a Bistro and a Village Centre. The Brass Rail, completed in May, offers a 50-seat, casual dining option with table service and an expanded terrace area for eating outside when the weather is pleasant.

The spacious two-story Village Centre, opening in August, is being built next to our current auditorium and will house a light-filled artists’ studio, spa, and a dance and aerobics studio. In addition there will be plenty of space for billiards, arts and crafts, meeting rooms and a coffee and juice bar.

The project is planned to give our residents even more options for dining, activities and socializing and to expand the space available for some of our most popular activities and amenities. In designing the new space, we have made sure to preserve the features of the Village’s common areas that make it so inviting to live here. One of the Carleton-Willard’s biggest assets is our Main Street design, the hub of the Village, where residents run into friends and neighbors several times a day. We are extending Main Street, which will lead to the new Village Centre, allowing for even more casual encounters.
