For Your Physical Well-Being

Our beautiful, state-of-the-art wellness center has everything you could want to keep you healthy, strong, and just feeling great. The stunning 20′ -by- 40′ therapeutic and recreational pool and spa has won design awards, and when you see it, you’ll understand why. Our fitness rooms feature strength training and cardiovascular equipment from top manufacturers. Our certified personal trainers work with each resident to set goals regarding strength, flexibility, endurance, and balance. And you’ll find plenty of staff and equipment to help you achieve those goals, including a second exercise center conveniently located at Winthrop Terrace.

Another option is to try out one of our group classes — we have groups for strength, aquatics, tai chi, and Pilates. Or try an active social activity such as table tennis —  you will be surprised at what a workout that can be, not to mention the laughter that goes along with it.

If you want to learn more about staying healthy, we have regular lectures and discussions, led by our Village Clinic health staff and community experts, on topics like cholesterol, hypertension, skin care, and maintaining an active lifestyle. Our manager, in collaboration with the director of the Village Clinic, also publishes a monthly newsletter on health topics. Click here to view the latest issue.

And don’t forget the miles of walking and biking paths throughout the Village grounds. Taking advantage of these gorgeous trails can be just the ticket for maintaining wellness — and that daily connection with nature.
