Carleton-Willard was the first in Massachusetts to receive this prestigious accreditation and every five years it continues to undergo a rigorous process of self-evaluation as well as on-site review by trained surveyors. We are proud to be one of only six Massachusetts communities to be accredited.

When a retirement community is CARF/CCAC-accredited, it means the community has passed an in-depth review of its services. It is your assurance that the community meets rigorous CARF/CCAC guidelines for service and quality-a qualified endorsement that your community conforms to nationally and internationally recognized service standards and is focused on delivering the most favorable results for you.

Quality First. Carleton-Willard's commitment to quality includes a routine, comprehensive self-assessment of our performance. Our board, staff and Residents all participate in this self-study which was designed by the American Association of Homes & Services for the Aging (AAHSA) and enables an organization to measure itself against 113 distinct quality standards.
